RiskMeter Online is a leading provider of risk analysis mapping technology to the insurance industry.  We provide over 30 real-time natural hazard risk reports, AAL & PML metrics, building characteristics and aerial images. Our service is used by over 250 carriers and hundreds of MGAs, Brokers and Agents, so they can make better underwriting decisions.

Available Positions

Account Executive

CDS is looking for an energetic, self motivated, seasoned account executive to sell the RiskMeter Online and related services. The position is responsible for prospecting new clients while maintaining existing relationships.  Our company has carved out a niche within the insurance industry so product & industry knowledge are very important. 

The following are primary goals of the account executive

• Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets
• Maintain high activity standards (prospecting, referrals, cold calls, sales meetings and trade shows)
• Manage prospect funnel accurately and effectively
• Identify and qualify prospects by telephone, on-site sales meetings and networking
• Build Relationships with existing clients

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum of 3 years sales experience is required for this position (background in selling technology to insurance companies is a plus) 
• Excellent communication skills
• A proven track record of consistently closing new business opportunities
• Good listening, effective questioning and exploratory information gathering techniques
• Must be an effective time manager
• PC literacy – including Internet, Windows, Outlook and contact management software
• Limited travel is expected
